After all the talk about Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irene, we're still waiting for it here in Nova Scotia. At 8pm Atlantic Time, it was a bit windy... but that's about it. Things WILL change, however.

The diet is going well. While I've plateaued a bit on the scale, I am losing inches. I've already popped one hole in this belt. It's almost time for another!

After a lot of hemming and hawing, I finally broke down and bought a Kindle e-book reader. Books are cheaper, lighter and it's better for the environment.

Now I can travel without lugging a bunch of tomes with me.

Early review: LOVE IT!
