This photo was actually taken on Feb 28, 2010, the last day of the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Canada had just defeated the US in a tight match for men's hockey gold. Hundreds of thousands of people poured into the streets to celebrate. Americans, Canadians, and people from every corner of the globe.
The people in and of Vancouver discovered that the games are more than just sporting events. They are a coming together of people from everywhere -- to celebrate their nations and the nations of others. And to have a hell of a good time!
